INTELLIGENT AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY INFORMATION SYSTEMBack
Remember the legend of the Tower of Babel? The ambition of building a mighty city and a tower reaching the heaven was never achieved because the language of the workers was confused and they did not understand each other anymore.
The ability of understanding various information and exchanging knowledge unleashes the potential and opens up new possibilities. In today’s world this applies not only to people, but also to technologies. This is why our intelligent agricultural machinery information system was developed.
How does it work?
The innovative agricultural machinery information system is a tool that gives a farmer the possibility to comprehensively collect, combine and analyze data from different smart technologies as a whole. The databases integrated in the system store primary data generated by smart agricultural machinery. Then the files are converted into one – unified data format, which allows to:
1) Operate data;
2) Perform various types of analysis operations (overlaps, mathematical operations, spatial analysis, visualization, etc.);
3) Get results on the farm (crop yields, losses due to diseases, frost or drought, fertilizers and chemicals used, operating costs, other farm performance indicators).
The processed data is stored in specially designed and configured databases.
Why is this needed?
Modern, intelligent technologies are increasingly being implemented in agricultural machinery. However, in most cases multi-manufacturer equipment and different data collection, processing and display systems are used. This causes the problem of incompatibility of software and data structures. With the help of our system it is possible not only to compile statistics and history of actions, but also to forecast yields, estimate costs and efficiency of farm activities
